After 30 Years in the UK and US, an Ondo man finds himself without a home upon returning to Nigeria.

 Joseph Ibironke, a 68-year-old man from Ondo State, claims to have spent nine years in the United Kingdom and 21 years in the United States before finding himself in Nigeria due to a strange illness.

Identifying as Pastor Joseph Ibironke, he was born on February 2, 1955, in Igbara Oke, Ifedore Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State. 

Currently residing in Lameco, Sango Ota, Ogun State, close to Nigerian Breweries in Sango, he earns a living with support from others as a minister of God.

Raised in a family of 11 children, he is the youngest.

Before leaving Nigeria, two siblings had passed away. Upon returning, he found himself with six siblings, but currently has three remaining from his parents.

His education includes attending Anglican Grammar School, Igbara Oke, Ondo State, and briefly studying at the University of Lagos before leaving for the UK in the 1980s. 

He worked with Union Bank before moving to London for further studies, attending a Bible college and Unity College, North London.

Though he studied Banking and Finance at UNILAG, he did not graduate before leaving for the UK in the 1980s. 

Departing Nigeria in his 30s, around 1983-1984, he left seeking better opportunities due to the unfavorable system in the country.

Working as a security officer, trained at Burns International Security Services Limited, UK, he moved to the US, where he continued working with them for a while. 

He possessed a British passport, which he misplaced in 2007. 

Despite reporting it missing and the British Government replacing it, he lost it again and was informed that it wouldn't be replaced due to carelessness.

His decision to move to the US was influenced by the perceived freedom and faster opportunities compared to the UK's restrictive environment.

I spent 21 years in the United States, working with Burns and later with the FBI Police Department before resigning to become a pastor. 

I also had a store in Orange County, California, where I sold electronics. Despite challenges, I was successful as the only black person in the area.

I was married with four children, but I lost contact with them after my wife left due to my illness. 

She's named Helen Jones, a U.S. citizen from Texas. We met in California and moved between states.

I had plans to return to Nigeria, but health issues intervened. 

A mysterious illness led me to be hospitalized in the U.S. and eventually brought back to Nigeria.

 The Redeemed Christian Church of God helped me during my recovery.

Before leaving Nigeria, I owned a house in Lagos, which I handed over to my Nigerian wife. 

Unfortunately, the house was sold after my departure, leading to hardships for my family.

Despite challenges, I plan to return to the United States for a better life, aiming to live well in my remaining years.
