PRAYER HOUSES! ANOTHER POVERTY EXACERBATION IN AFRICAN.

Image
While leaving my house everyday I pass three to four prayers houses on my street alone not to talk about the ones littered along the major roads.  These prayer houses have at least 40 to 60 members present every morning. These are people's Father's, mother's, uncle's, Aunties, probably breadwinners in each family, while children at home are expectedly waiting for mummies and daddies to come back home with goodies as the hustle of the day pays  off, at least with the 2 hours praying in the house every morning, the children confidently believe that their daily breads are Guaranteed. Funny enough chai, brothers and sisters, funny enough, these hope filled expected  breadwinners will unfortunately  closed their shop, offices and business centers to go to another man's/woman's business center sorry Prayer houses to pray or maybe ask their creatures why their businesses, families and maybe relationship aren't going the right way. 'Who does that'?.  African

Petrol scarcity is not a deliberate action to impact forthcoming elections - NNPC GCEO, Mele Kyari

Image
Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mele Kyari has stated that petrol scarcity witnessed across the country is not a deliberate action to scuttle the forthcoming election.    Appearing on NTA?s ?Good Morning Nigeria? programme on Thursday, February 2, Kyari disclosed that the petrol shortage situation began in 2022.   He said;     I do not think anybody sits down to orchestrate that there should be scarcity so that it will impact elections and so on. I don?t think it happens that way if it is so. But it is not true because the reality is that these glitches actually started early in 2022.    It has nothing to do with this election period. Once you have a challenge of this nature, it is a cyclical thing. Once you have this challenge, they continue to come up, and then once you have arbitrage issues, you have this glitch. Today, our redundancy in terms of petroleum products supply is just three days in this country. Once you have

Fashola: Naira notes scarcity hurting Nigerians

Image
Minister of Housing and Works, Babatunde Fashola has said that there's need for the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to be reviewed.    Speaking during an interview with media personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the Minister stated that the scarcity of the new Naira notes is hurting Nigerians. Fashola said;    I feel sympathy for the Nigerian people and what they have had to go through. Sometimes policies play out like this in the process of implementation, sometimes it all ends well and sometimes it calls for reconsideration and review. In spite of the fact the CBN has acted within the spirit and letters of its independence by law, it is important to remember that we serve the public and the public says it is hurting, it is important to take a step back and ask where it is hurting and how we can make it better. It must not be a matter of ego."

I’m actually dada – those people that naturally have dreadlocks from birth. Since birth, I have been spiritual. My parents told me that I was stillborn so they had to thrœw me away. Then there was a clergyman from Ibadan who came to the hospital and asked about me and I was brought back to life.

Does that mean he Will stay with you from morning till night? It's not possible, let's stop deceiving ourselves on social media. Even a jobless man can never give a woman 24hours attentio

LET US PAUSE AND PONDER ON THIS PIECE BY Charles Awuzie

Poverty is SUGGESTIVE.... You need to know this to escape it. The Biblical Adam was the first man in Bible stories to become poor despite being placed in Paradise. He Didn't Need leather Clothes... But someone influenced him to consider his lack of leather clothes as Nakedness. As soon as he embraced that way of thinking, he started hunting for clothes, killing what he was supposed to protect (the animals) just to afford the kind of clothes which he never needed in the first place. That's what the system, yes the matrix, does to us - it suggests that you need things which you don't actually need. Then it puts you under pressure to kill what you actually should protect (like your relationship, marriage or family) in pursuit of what was suggested to you. The voice asked them "Who Told You That You Are Naked?" Pause here and Take a deep breath.... Think deeply on that.... Today, I am asking you - Who Told You That You Are Poor? Think very well. No child, no matter ho

Danger of Sleeping on your tummy while pregnant .

Image
I have slept on my tummy all my life. If you see me sleeping on my back or side, I'm most likely NOT really asleep. I used to think it was impossible for me to sleep any other way. So... I GOT PREGNANT. First Trimester, I was still sleeping on my tummy. My husband would beg me to sleep on my side so that I won't press his baby's head. 🤣😅🤣 Second Trimester, I was still sleeping on my tummy. A 6 months however, I started trying to sleep on my side. I would sleep on my side and wake up on my tummy.🫢 Third Trimester At about 7 months, I started sleeping on my side with huge pillows in my front to prevent me from turning on my tummy while asleep. One day, at about 29 weeks pregnant, I rolled over on my tummy. I woke up feeling a lot of movements. I called the hospital to book with my ObyGyn as a matter of emergency. I got there and told my ObyGyn that I slept on my tummy and I think my baby is in distress because I pressed him all night. This👇 is what my ObyGyn told me. &q
