These go for different prices and are dependent on the brand, color, and quality of the produce. For as long as memory can search, the price of rice in Nigeria has always fluctuated. This fluctuation can be seasonal or can be a result of exchange rates (at the time Nigeria was still a major importer of rice). Things are quite different today, but rice is still not as cheap as Nigerians want it to be. Anambra Bans Advertisement Of Herbal Medicine - Health

  The Anambra State Government has announced the ban on all forms of open advertisement of herbal medicines in the state. This was disclosed in a statement by the state Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, on Saturday. Nwosu also said the state government had directed that all advertisements for herbal drugs must be approved by the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Herbal Medicine and Pharmaceuticals before they could be displayed in any public space or media platform. He gave the categories of herbal medicines to include products made from botanicals or plants, that are used to treat diseases or to maintain health. He listed it as a medicinal product and herbal supplements made from plants and used for curative or preventive purposes. According to him, the exercise is targeted at regulating and controlling the use of herbal substances which has been on the increase among residents of the state.   Some protesters have taken to the streets in Kano State to kick against the imminent use of force to resolve the Niger coup crisis. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) had directed military forces of the member states to be on standby. The protesters on Saturday embarked on the demonstration to show their displeasure at the planned military invasion of Niger Republic. While moving in a procession, they were chanting “Nigeriens are our brothers, Nigeriens are also our family. “Niger is ours, we don’t want war, war against Niger is injustice, a plot by the western forces.” They displayed Nigeria and Niger’s flags alongside placards, chanting anti-war catchphrases. This followed an intense call from different quarters, especially Northerners who believe that Nigeriens are neighbours with whom they share things in common.

In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Agu said at the time the N10 million offer was made, he had not earned N1 million on his own, yet he insisted on getting N20 million.
