Infertility- why wait for long to find solution ?

Image
After I gave birth to my son, I went for my 6 weeks postpartum check and my ObyGyn offered me options of contraceptives. I declined and told her that I'll soon start trying for a second baby, likely by 2023, so I don't want to take any contraceptives till I'm done having all the children I want to have. She said okay. "If you try for 3-4 months and you don't get a positive pregnancy result, come back to me for assistance." In general, infertility is defined as not being able to conceive after one year of unprotected sex. Sometimes, the cause of this infertility can be something very minor. Either the man or woman or both might need to take some tablets for a few days to correct it. In some other cases, the causes are more complicated but curable. Why do a lot of Nigerian couples experiencing infertility wait for so many years before trying to find solution... medically? Medical technology has advanced. Why are you not taking advantage of it?
