  Dr. Abass Adio Adeyemi, 36, the chief medical director of Kaiama General Hospital, has been detained by the Kwara State Police command on suspicion of four counts of murder and organ harvesting. Adeyemi was paraded by the state police commissioner, Mr. Paul Odama, who also declared that the command was closing in on other criminal gang members.  Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong has tackled the leadership of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG for ‘being silent’ as the 2023 general election draws nearer.  In a post shared on his Instagram page, Inibehe wondered why the church will be silent after it created a political department just before one of its members and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo participated in the 2022 APC Presidential primary which he lost to Bola Tinubu. Inibehe in his post asked if churches should only be involved in politics when its members are contesting for an elective position.  His post reads; ‘’What happened to the Political Department that the RCCG formed during the primaries.
