What if I didn't ASK!

Sundays in my home have some features that has almost become a routine. It includes having a rice meal and of course a bread meal too.

There was even a time I was baking the bread myself, yeah I love bread so much that I had to learn the process of baking it and I can boldly say my bread can compete well in the home-made category.

So, yesterday as we returned from church, we stopped by our usual bread source to get one. Mo and I were quietly hoping we won't be welcomed with "bread will be ready in the next 1hour ".... that statement is usually a disappointing one for us๐Ÿ˜.

Well, we got there and there was bread!

As in plenty.  As I was about taking it, I noticed the nylon has a different colour.
I looked closely and saw it isn't our regular!

Ah!
I looked at Mo and said, we can't have this, it is not sweet. This one has salt not sugar.

She felt really disappointed.

She tried to convince me to pick it notwithstanding saying by the time she put butter and egg it will be "yummy".

I insisted that we had to go.

As we were about leaving, I decided to just ask how long it will take for our regular to be ready, and boom the woman replied....that's what you want.
We only used a different nylon because that's what we have.

I turned to Mo and we joyfully picked and left.

On our way home, I started pondering,

I needed the bread.
I had the means to get it..
But then, what I wanted was wrapped differently...
What if I didn't ASK!

I would have left feeling bad.
I would have started thinking of meal replacement...

I figured out that life is full of such situations,
You get to the office and just felt, the form would have finished because you didn't meet people on the queue and you turned back....

You looked at someone and concluded he couldn't  be the chairman you came  to see...

Please be sure you have asked before concluding.

You could be the last person they will attend to.

You could be the first that got there even when you feel you were already behind schedule.

It's a new week, please Ask, Ask and Ask!.

Don't just conclude.
Be sure.
