The striker has agreed terms with FC Barcelona after terminating his contract by mutual consent with Arsenal and has already passed the traditional medical and fitness tests at Barcelona Hospital and in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. In the coming days he will be officially unveiled as a Barça player.
The latest Barça recruit could not hide his happiness as he spoke as a blaugrana for the first time: "I am really happy to be here and I am looking forward to getting out on the field at Camp Nou."
