Obedience....

 The  subject  of obedience  was  what  we  studied  and reviewed  for  our search the  scripture  today.  In the  course  of  the  study,  we  talked  about how  God  dealt  with those  that  disobeyed him  in  the  scripture ( the  likes  of King  Saul, Achan,  Jonah,  the Israelites,  Ananias  and his  wife  and so  on) and  the  way  he  is dealing  with  us  in  this our  dispensation.  
I then  remembered  one of  my  write  up  about obedience,  a  lesson God  taught  me  then.
We  often  disobey  God and  feel  nothing happens,  we  cry  unto him  for  mercy and he forgives. We  are  in  the dispensation  of  GRACE  so  we  think,  but  God  taught  me  a lesson  which  came  back  to  me  again  today  and  I  will  like  to share.
 The  question  came  to me  then  that  do  I  know  that  there  are  levels  and  realms  of glory  in  this  kingdom?
So  many  get  stuck  in  a  level  because  of many things.
Some  because  of  their disobedience.
 Yes  we  are  under  grace  but  instead  of you  moving  forward  to the  next  level  of  glory, you  can  remain  in  a level  of  glory  just  because  of  your disobedience.

The  prerequisite  for moving  to  the  next  level  is  your  obedience.
 Each  level  has  it's examination ( a test) and until  you  pass  the  test, you're  going  nowhere and  it  is  your  obedience  that  is required  to  pass  these tests.
 And  the  second  reason why  people  get  stuck  on  a  level  of  glory is that  they fail  to  build capacity.
You  can't  grow  beyond your  capacity.
You  have  to  be intentional  about  adding values  to  yourself and expanding  your  horizon according  to  the  book of 2 Peter 1 : 1-10.
 The  question  then is,
Why  cheat  yourself or allow  the  devil  to  cheat you,  by remaining and getting stuck on a level of glory  through  your disobedience  or  by  you not  expanding your  capacity when  you  can  actually get  higher  in  glory?
Overcoming  SELF  is very  very  important and also  we  have  to  totally depend  on  the  Holy Spirit  for  help to overcome  SELF.

 1. When we walk with the Lord, in the light of His word
What a glory He sheds on our way
Let us do His good Will, He abides with us still
And with all who will Trust and Obey.

Trust and Obey, for there is no other way
To be happy in Jesus but to Trust and Obey.

 2. Then in fellowship sweet, we will sit at His feet
Or we'll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He send we will go.
Never fear, only Trust and Obey.

Trust and Obey, for there is no other way
To be happy in Jesus but to Trust and Obey.
