I am a teacher,by the grace of God I have taught both at the secondary and primary section. There was a school I once taught, the students rarely listen when other teachers wants to address them except to some of us. I always respect their view, and when I'm addressing them,I am fond of using, dear, dearie, darling for them, you see them blushing, happy and feeling important.
I was able to preach Christ to them, and also share experiences of life with them.
When I left the school, most of them found me here on Facebook and shared things they were going through with me.
I once listened to a message by Apostle Joshua Selma, titled,The gift of men, he said he honors everybody that comes his way,he said something that got my attention, he said some of this young ones you are seeing today, you don't know where they will be tomorrow. I then remembered one of my big sis that so much love me and took me like her own sister, one day,one of her cousins called her and said what rubbish was she doing, making friendship with a small girl like me,she told her, this small girl is worth more than a friend to me. I held on to that word and I cherish her even till today, she is my lovely sister from another mother,I am not there yet,but I am sure I will be great on earth, I can never forget her . You cannot identify with someone when he/she is great if you have dishonored or look down on the person when he/she was nothing.
There are some things your money won't be able to do for you,but influence will do for you
Be intentional to make honor your lifestyle.
You can't influence someone you are not honoring,if you want to influence people around you, then you need to learn to honor them.
