Ebonyi Hoúse of Assembly Gives Approval For The Executive To Secure Over N4 billion Fund For Projects

The Ebonyi State House of Assembly has given approval to the State Governor to negotiate with a commercial bank to secure a loan of four billion, two hundred and seventy million naira to enable it complete parts of some ongoing projects in the State.

Reading the letter of request from the state governor, Engr David Nweze Umahi during the plenary on the floor of the house, the leader of the House, Hon Joseph Nwaobashi, maintained that the said amount would assist the state governor in completing parts of the numerous projects he embarked on.
The House unanimously voted in favour of the request with a motion moved by Onu Nwoye and seconded by Sir Chris Oselelebe after it was put to vote by the Speaker of the House, Francis Nwifuru
