Ebonyi state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) appoints new Chairman.
This is coming after the former Chairman Barr. Tochukwu Okorie was indefinitely suspended by the National Executive Committee in Abuja yesterday.
Chief Barr. Ifeanyi Nworie was this morning appointed as the new Chairman, prior to his appointment Barr, Nworie was the Deputy Chairman of the party in the State and currently the House of Assembly Candidate for Ezza-South. He also hails from Ezza-South LGA of the state.
Barr. Tochukwu Okorie who was suspended by the party over petition on financial misappropriation and anti party activities is yet to defend himself.

A House of Representatives member representing Ideato Federal Constituency in Imo state, Ikenga Ugochinyere, has said that some South-East governors have failed to bring an end to the crisis in the region because they are benefiting from it.
