Few days ago, I needed to do a delivery, as I set out, Mo requested that I buy bread for them. She specified the one she wants. I promised I would.
I concluded all I needed to do and went for our bread😁.
I got on the queue to make payment.
Then two guys appeared and they turned our straight line queue to a 'Y-shaped' one.
After a short while, the guys' line grew longer and me and the lady in front of me were sidelined already😶.
So, I asked the guy why he thinks he could just try to break into the queue and sidelined us that he met there, he responded with a bold face that seem ready for a fight.
Well, as my mama taught me well, I kept calm and just watched him. He finally struggled to take a chance ahead of me....I sha dey look.
Later, the cashier needed #50 as balance for a customer she just attended to.
Right from behind the guy, I signaled to the cashier that I have what she needed, guess what, she called me forward to attend to me because she needed my #50.
I majestically walked passed the guy that felt everything na gra gra with the look of..... Oju ti ti won o😁😁.
Made payment and walked away.
As I walked out of the mall I picked some lessons from that simple scenario.....
Cutting corners might seem smart but it doesn't always work.
The person that chose to follow due process is never a fo.ol.
Then, I remembered this Yoruba Adage "ikanju ati suuru, egbeegba ni".

A House of Representatives member representing Ideato Federal Constituency in Imo state, Ikenga Ugochinyere, has said that some South-East governors have failed to bring an end to the crisis in the region because they are benefiting from it.
