Mum was denied baby lay dying in hospital after attack it
The heartbroken mother of a baby boy shaken to death by his own father in a fit of rage has revealed she wasn't allowed to cuddle her son as he lay dying in hospital following the attack.
Mum Aisha Harris was told by police that she could not touch six-month-old Ruben Sweet-Harris while a criminal investigation was ongoing.
She said: "Ru was considered evidence while he was in hospital for three days.
"I wasn’t allowed to cuddle him in case I put a mark on him.
"As a parent my role was to keep him safe and I feel like I’ve failed."
