Nigerian girl schooling in Texas is arrested for pouring bleach in her roommate's eyes

An 18-year-old Nigerian student has been arrested for pouring bleach into her roommate’s eyes during an argument,

Brianna Esomchukwu, 18, a freshman at Prairie View A&M University in Texas, was booked on an aggravated assault charge on March 8.

According to Prairie View A&M University Chief of Police, Keith Jemison, Esomchukwu's roommate, 19-year-old Julisha Wyatt, had bleach in her eyes and had minor burns on her skin after the attack.

She was taken to a local hospital to have her eyes flushed out.
Speaking to WFAA, Wyatt's mom said that there had been some friction between the roommates - particularly since Wyatt complained to a resident advisor that their on-campus apartment smelled like marijuana, which they think contributed to the incident.
A university spokesman said Esomchukwu's enrollment and status as a student are under review, WFAA reported.
