Get ready for a thrilling intellectual showdown! The C-SAGAS CHARITY FOUNDATION proudly announces the Annual Arts and Science Secondary School Quiz Competition, scheduled for July 2025. This prestigious event, generously funded with ₦3 million by His Eminence, High Chief Architect Christian Asaga Nwali PhD, is more than just a quiz it's a platform designed to inspire, challenge, and elevate the brightest young minds in Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.


But this isn’t just about answering questions

it’s about opening doors.

This quiz competition is aimed at supporting the People's Charter of Needs agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Builder Prince Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru, Governor Ebonyi. 


C-Sagas charity foundation is committed to helping His Excellency Rt.Hon.Builder Prince Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru administration as the Governor of Ebonyi State to stimulate basic educational development and promotion of educational excellence among the rural public and private schools within various communities in Ebonyi State. 


This phase of quiz competition will take place at Ikwo local government area, and only public and private secondary schools in Ikwo local government area are eligible to participate. 


The quiz competition will take place at the zonal level and in two phases. Phase 1 will be the initial quiz for all participants from where participating candidates who are successful will be selected to participate in Phase 2, which will be the final phase where winners will emerge. 


In the final phase, the ten best performing students comprising of five best performing students from ARTS subjects and five best performing students from Science subjects will be selected and given cash prizes and certificates for awards of Excellence in either ARTS and SCIENCE/STEM. The best performing schools for ARTS and Science subjects will also be given cash prizes and certificates for excellence achievement. Also, a special recognition will be given to the best ten teachers in Mathematics, English Language, physics, Chemistry, Biology, Government, Economics, and Literature in English Language. 


A letter will be dispatched to all secondary schools in Ikwo with detailed information on how to apply and participate in this quiz competition. 


Subjects to be covered in the quiz are Mathematics, English Language, physics, Chemistry and Biology for Science students; and Mathematics, English Language, Literature in English, Economics, and Government for ARTS students.

ZONAL EXAMINATIONS


Date: Saturday, 12th July 2025: Phase 1 Examination day for both Science and ARTS candidates.

Time: 10:00 am prompt. Late coming is not permitted.


Phass 2- FINAL EXAMINATION (For the best students that emerged from Phase 1)


Date: Saturday 30th August 2025.

Venue: Ebonyi State College of Education Ikwo

Time 10 :00 am prompt. Late coming is not permitted. 


Note that participation in all the Examinations is free and under no disguise should a student be asked to pay to participate in the examination.  


It is also the duty of the School Principal to choose which certificates that's closer to his students for participation. Any students from SS1 to SS3 are eligible to participate. 


Each Secondary school Principal is responsible for submitting the names of his/students selected to participate in the Quiz competition and shall make themselves available to the centre where the examination will take place. 


We advise all the students who are interested in any of the above Quiz competition to select the team they can participate and further submit their names, school address and the examination centres close to them through their Principal for onward submission to the secretary, educational services, and skill acquisition Team, C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Engr.
